This is a short story that will most likely hit home for lots of people, as it did for me while writing it because i still have regrets over some of the things I did during high school to other students. The ending may not be what most expect or to their liking but it is intended to make you think. Every action has a reaction. Bullying hurts..inside and out.

Generally I write Science Fiction and Short Story Romances. Typically the latter is recognized as a woman's genre but men fall in love too (really)! The success of Nicholas Sparks has opened the door for men to try their hand here as well. (Yeah I know there are other men that write Romances but using a female pen name!) This is my first foray into Erotica, also a heavily female dominated genre. I hope you enjoy it.

I only started this yesterday and anyone who knows my work knows I usually write horror. For a change, I thought it would be fun to have a go at writing a children's book. The age group I have in mind is the 6-10's and I would love any general feedback on the main feel of it so far. The basic story line is that a pair of old women move to a large housing estate. They are an odd pair but it turns out they are much more than this. The Twist sisters are bent on turning all the children in the area into 'the unhealthiest little morsels we can muster.' They own a large van, not unlike a black, ice-cream van, and it sells tasty food but food that makes your average burger outlet seem like a healthy option. Sometimes they do far more than make children ill and overweight. If you get caught by them, that is... Spelling, as usual, is UK English. Cheers, Keen

The first three chapters have been revised and rearranged for the strongest start competition. The novel is posted in its entirety so you may read at your leisure (DISABLED CHAPTERS WILL BE ENABLED FOR ANY NEW REVIEWERS GOING BEYOND CHAPTER 3). Old reviews will not always match up with the chapter that it is attached to. This is in essence a memoir of my life in an orphanage, but I use composite characters and am not sure it qualifies as "memoir" for the contest. I will let the judges decide that. I hope this final go through will make it ready to publish, so any comments whatsoever will be appreciated. Especially interested in the new flow pattern. Opinions? Thanks for your help and advice.
