| Bio: | I am an attorney for a Legal Aid society that provides free legal help to people with disabilities. Over the past several years I have regularly written legal articles that were published in national and regional publications. I enjoy writing fiction and wish to develop my non-legal writing skills. I have written two novels and some short stories. I am looking for a group that is willing to exchange serious critiques of each other's writing. I have many eclectic interests. To keep in shape, or at least make the attempt, I take martial arts lessons. I am a competitive darts player and still go to tournaments from time to time. I have a long work commute and to make it bearable I have developed an addiction to podcasts about literature, writing and a variety of other subjects. I grew up in New Orleans but moved to New Jersey a few years ago. I love creole/cajun cooking and a wide variety of music. I have avidly read fantasy and science fiction since childhood and I am working on editing my first fantasy novel that I wrote in 2008. |
