| Bio: | Merle is an army/chaplain's wife, and a mother of a blended family of thirteen. She is an avid reader and writer. Much of her material comes from life, and thematically addresses stories of people failing, experiencing crisis and yet finding successes. Metaphorically, she loves the symbol of a phoenix rising from the ashes. That would be her life. She has a Masters in Instructional Media and Technology, and a certificate in non-fiction from CUNY's Writers Institute. As a freelance writer, she writes articles, essays, short stories, web content, online documentation, and whatever else tickles her fancy. She's also an editorial assistant for a literary magazine. |
