| Bio: | Hi. joined this site as of 4-11-12. I love critiques. As much as I need the "technical" help and welcome any nits you have to offer, telling me your thoughts and what you enjoyed about the story is a particular favorite and just as helpful, so don't worry about having to be a grammar expert in order to leave a review. I'm on here to share more than anything, but improving as a writer because of awesome nits is just icing on the cake. Just a heads-up: I'm kind of a slow reader. That said, given the "you read mine and I'll read yours" mindset here on NBW, I'd hate to give the impression I was snubbing someone because I dont hop-to and give a reciprocal review right away. Thats not my intention. I know how time consuming reviews are and would never expect someone to read something they have no interest in, romance genre included. :) My review style: I'm a bare bones kinda gal. I'll give you the straight facts. I'll share my personal opinions. I'm bad about sugar coating. So I just want to make it clear here that I never set out to discourage anyone--ever. I hope my long-winded reviews arent taken as such. I dont care if you're the worst about punctuation or using "loose" instead of "lose", I'ma just point it out and move on, but I'm not apologetic about it either, but I will say sorry in advance if I accidentally "offend" you with my bluntness. Its just my style and I walk into a review with the assumption the author is ready to get down to business, especially when they ask for a review. For the love of cake, dont take it personally, I'm only trying to help. Personal fact: I hate cake, but I refer to it a lot in this bio. Weird. Thanks for reading. |
