| Bio: | My high school required 5 English classes, so even though I'm an engineer, I like to think that I have a decent command of the English language. In fact, I had a poetry muse when I was in my teens, but she evaporated as I studied more engineering. Then I dated a writer in my 30's and thought I could write - even though I'd never written fiction before. I have no idea where those "musings" went. But the themes stayed with me, and now, in my late 40's, I want to publish this collection of African-American short stories that has been inside of me for nearly 15 years. I am here to get all of the criticism that I possibly can. I am here to learn the art of dialogue. And of course, to read good fiction and learn from it. Oh, and don't let the picture fool you. I am black. Especially on the inside. |
