Re: Agents...anyone had any luck?

I'm reading you backwards, so just seeing the post where you talked about the hacking and slashing. I'm doing okay with the breakng-into-parts thing, I guess. Broken Sparrows was one manuscript and now it's five.

It's the murdering of darlings where I run into problems. Hoping the feedback here will help me ID what's extraneous, so if you see any clutter please let me know. RUTHLESSLY even. Perhaps not violently. Well... maybe.

Re: Agents...anyone had any luck?

Hey,

Bargeafloat and I have been friends for years!  We even shared a residence--scary thought.  We were seen one night (or prayed we weren't!) going to McDonalds in our jammies for coffee--the power was out!

However, I prefer not to wander around "in the flesh" with anyone!

Elle,

I *so* want to hang out with you and Bargeafloat. We would have so much fun.  My jammies have feet in them, so no flesh revealed.

Re: Agents...anyone had any luck?

Ivey, you have NO idea!

Bargeafloat and I met while working at the health department in Adult Health.  She is one of the funniest people I have ever met, but she also has tremendous depth!  I don't know that she always intends to be funny, but even her grocery list makes you laugh!  She tells the funniest stories and doesn't mind making herself the "butt" of the joke!  Then, SHE laughs as hard as everyone else!

You're welcome anytime you want to come, but leave the children home!  My babes are grown and gone, and neither Barge nor I have (nor want) husbands or pets--we're old, content, and set in our ways!

Works for me!

I guess that means I get stuck at home with the kids. Well, have fun. Just remember that one of you has to be the designated driver.

You two rock! I can think of no better way to spend a weekend. Barge is hilarious. And I love your sense of humor. I will be the boring but appreciative one.

Re: Agents...anyone had any luck?

As I am fairly new to the site this is the first I have read of Robert and Michelle's success ! Congratulations ! This news has breathed fresh life into my writing psyche. I was quite depressed when I joined the site three weeks ago and couldn't get myself into writing mode to finish anything. I kept starting stories and then getting writers block. The encouragement I have had from authors and reviewers has enriched me and now I am into it again ! Reading that Robert and Michelle have had such wonderful success is so uplifting !
