Thanks GP and tso...quick update...I didn't smack him!  He has since moved out and frankly...I'm ok with it.  Things haven't run this stress free for years.  At this point... we need time away from each other.  The kids still see him and we are cordial when we have to see each other.  Only time will tell but as of right now, I think I am liking this seperation.

I'm sorry it got to that point, but I'm glad you're doing okay with the separation.  I hope you find solace in your writing.  Whenever Real Life deals me a blow like that, I go through a phase where I feel like it's pointless to work on my novel.  But after awhile, I can get back into it and then I realize how important it is to me.  The nice thing about writing is that no one can take that away from you.  Take care!

Ok I know this is weird to some of you, but I can't tell you the amount of support I've gotten from the folks at TNBW, during this time of hell for me and my girls.  As I've ranted about on this site (and thank goodness I could) I've since filed for divorce.  Found out not only did my husband have a prescription drug problem, but he has a girlfriend on the side.  I could deal with the drugs, but not the girlfriend!  thank you all for you're patience and understanding of my absence as of late!  Again, can't even begin to thank you all for your help and support!
