Hi all,

Before I wade through all nine pages of this post, can someone answer for me if simultaneous submissions are acceptable? I would like to include one of the poems I had originally offered here as part of a book on caregiving I'm putting together. But, since I'd offered it here first, I'm hesitant. I don't want to miss this opportunity.

Or should I go on the premise that since I've not actually heard (it's been a while), my poetry is probably not included in the 2nd book?

JLMO, Just my say here and mind you, it's not coming from anywhere official, but go ahead and use any poetry you'd like for the caregiving book.  If it eventually gets used in the Iconic volume, all that has to be said is that it's previously published in xxxx.  It could be quite some time before Jano gets back to this. Marc isn't doing the editing anymore, I think. I seem to remember an email saying something of that, but I could be mistaken. There are still open issues with volume 1, so I don't know when volume 2 will manifest itself. You do what you need to do with your work. There may even be a second call for submissions later after some better guidelines for submissions and the editing team is available again.  I'll ask Jano for details. He may want to say something more official one way or another.
