I like to rhyme, But is it worth my time? (on the publishing end)
Hi All,
The big debate in my mind is whether I should completely reject the thought of continuing with rhymes. From what I've researched, publishers don't want it.
I have done some poetry but most of my stuff are these short stories that rhyme.
Should I scrap that modality of writing?
Thanks for everyone's thoughts.

Yep, scrap it.
Everything, anything that rhymes a little bit for kids gets automatically compared to green eggs and ham, Sam I am.... and Seuss was/is still King in that dept.
For YA, literary etc... I guess its not on today's market except is poetry.
Plus, its kinda harder to write that way isn't it?
