Re: The Ungrateful Dead:They're So Vein by Susan Stec
Susan-
just left a review for the last chapter of F word. Forgot to give you the nits. In case you want them: Duolc's name is spelled differently a few times, there was a swug that should be a swung, noting that should be a nothing, a starting that should be staring (I think), and I'm not sure what A-Dah is.
But anyway, loved the critter Dek makes & I like the last bit of dialogue there for your ending. Fun stuff!

Thanks SquarePeg. I copied and pasted all the nits, and I'm now headed over to check out the review. Glad you're enjoying the read. That makes me smile. And I appreciate the heads up with Duolc's name. I just did a spell check on the MC names. LOL I didn't do the supporting characters, though. I'm on it.
I'll get on your next chapter tonight, girl.

Hey Susan!
The site won't let me re-review chapter one of Fword - so here it is:
Nicely done! I can see this tying in to Layol's ending well. You've established the fire fairies as the bad guys & are already developing Dlouc's/Detaf's character more.
Nits: "Bet she gets another deficiency mark[?]" (No question mark needed.) Later Bacs says "one down, two more to go..." Is it two or three at that point? I'm totally curious what Dek's mom does with those mosquito eggs she harvests.
Anyway - looking good! It looks like your revised Chapter 2 is still in the works- I'll keep an eye out!

Re: The Ungrateful Dead:They're So Vein by Susan Stec
Dang it, I republished chapters 1-2 and 3 and you should be able to review all three. I've had no problems with chapter 1 so far, buyt Seabrass couldn't get into chapter 2 so I republished it a second time. Do you want me to do that with 1? I don't mind. I have tons of points.
When you go to chapter 2, hit the review key before you start reading to see if it takes you to the review page. Then you can toggle back and read and review knowing you won't have a problem. I do that with all chapters that have been republished. Try doing that with 1 again as well, 'cause it may be a site glitch today.
If it's still a no go, I'm gonna email Sol to see if there have been glitches in this area lately.
I copied these edits, but think I have already corrected the question mark thing. The Bacs comment is 'two' marks because of the dusting in the office in front of the secretary when she made a note on her pad, but maybe that needs to be more clear. I'm on it. Thanks so much, for the review. I feel really bad you didn't get points for reading and reviewing it
Try and post this again in chapter one. If it doesn't fly, I can republish that chapter for you if you are going to put this in there for those points. Just let me know.

No worries, Susan - I've got gobs of points & it'll be a while before I post anything new. Finished my first draft of Hitchhiker! Now I need to get going on my sequel to Prophet... so much harder to write! You're the best!

Hi Susan!
Tried to leave a comment on your site today, but it kept giving me an error. Could have been user error - I'm not very techno-efficient. Anyway - love the artwork! Are you the artist?

Thanks girl. Yep, I did the art work on all the book covers on FB and Pinterest. It's fun working the covers. (is that what you're talking about?) I have several up on the site. The Other F Word and Gator Baitin'.
I had problems getting on everything yesterday and threw up my hands, gave up, and worked on the Grateful Undead edits and formatting.

Just dropped in to let you know I revised Sentinel to give it more details. You
reviewed it once before and got the main thrust, but I think this version is
even darker. Would appreciate your take.

Susan-
When I said I didn't have a clue in my last review - I meant that in a "can't wait to see how this all plays out" kind of way! I don't think the reader is supposed to have it all figured out at that point anyway! I really need to take more time typing my reviews! Checking for more posts on F word right now!

Susan--
In my review of your latest Horror thing...I said you had repeats of events. It's repeated like it was copy and pasted three times, exact duplicates. That can't be how you intended it. It looked to be three exact copies of the same two scenes. Am I wrong?

Hey Susan what you up to, haven't heard or read a thing from you
in a while. You doing OK? Getting ready for hunting season up
there in Michigan?
I just bought a new Remington .270 with a Bushnell scope on it
off a guy for $300. Hard times sure make it easy to find great deals.
Back in the spring I bought 2 guns for about half what they sell for retail.
Let us hear from you.......![]()

Hey Susabella, got your messsage at the other thread about being busy
and family issues. I'm repeating my answer here so you don't miss it.
"Susan...take all the time you need. You know I'm your Huckleberry.
I know what it's like once you get a book out there and people start
making demands for sequels and spin-offs. That's why I said maybe
next summer for a target date.

Susan and Lee, I would like to ask you if you would help me out with a short blurb I could use for my book. I wanted to have a few editorial reviews to put in and current authors are good for that. It doesn't have to be long. Maybe a sentence or at most two. You can post it in my topic if you are able. Thanks in advance.

Re: The Ungrateful Dead:They're So Vein by Susan Stec
Unbar, If you have a WIP for the back cover blurb you can either email me a copy to review or post it here on the site as a short. Either way I will be glad to assist. Here are a couple of ideas for you to start with. If you want to edit them, feel free to do so. If you want me to make any changes or add something you want addressed just let me know:
A Marvelous read for all ages, The Master of Books Series breathes life into the childhood fantasy of being a part of the stories you love to read over and over again~~~Susan Stec, author of The Grateful Undead series.
Young Tommy finds out there's more than words on the pages of his favorite adventure story when he suddenly finds himself smack-dab in the middle of an adventure he only dreamed of having the skill to complete – not to mention that his actions could not only change the story but the world he left behind~~Susan Stec, author of The Grateful Undead series.
I'll post this in your thread too, Robert.
