Waiting for Karl Rove--published by authors Kat Nove and Jeni Decker

I read and reviewed this incredible story (literally) and posted on Goodreads and Amazon. Jeni was kind enough to mail me a copy of the book to review and I was astonished to find that it is not only hilarious but in a long tradition of mockery, satire, no-holds-barred insults such as Cervantes and a long list of Irish writers have used since neolithic times. Kat's footnotes alone deserve to be reviewed by the Times. Kat is a genius. Jeni is her match. Together, they blow reality apart and scatter the remains of republicans all over the place. They take feminism to new heights. A woman satirist is bad enough but two of them at once is nearly fatal. Order the book, give it to your friends. Write your own review.

Hey, Nadine.  I have a long list of email addresses for you.  Send them that part about me being a genius, would you?  The list includes my ex-husband, the lawyer whose nuts I cut off in Westley Weasel, the CEO who said to me that book managers always have theories, the district manager who said I wasn't allowed to have an opinion, 75% of the characters in the book and Richard!  Spam the hell out of Richard!

Thanks for recommending the book.  Most fun I've ever had writing.  We're working on a sequel now.  This means I'm staring at the first chapter wondering if I'll come up with something even mildly amusing before my head explodes.  Jeni is Photoshopping something.

Kat

You can send me the emails but why not just say a crazy grandma in Hadley, Mass. thinks you're a genius. That should convince them.

Nothing will ever convince Richard.  I happen to think you're a genius.  They don't grow geniuses in Texas.  Did you hear that, Rick Perry?

Maybe one and a half.  Does that make my IQ about 80?
