Re: Jeanne M. Bannon
Hey, girlfriend, how's it going? Been editing on my fairy book all day, now I just need to catch up with Blood sweat tomorrow! Then I can hopefully start to write. I think I'm going to set days aside for writing only. No marketing! So hard to do.... You going to start on DA soon? Or are you going back to TBB?

Re: Jeanne M. Bannon
Hi Susan, I've been working on DA but I haven't republished anything. I'm on chapter 34 now, but it's slow going. I want to start back with TBB really badly. You're right about the marketing taking too much time. And I'm with you on getting back to writing. Great minds think alike, lol

Re: Jeanne M. Bannon
It's been soooooooooooooo hard to get the next chapter written. I had such good intentions starting out today, but got sidetracked and didn't get my writing done. Damn! And I woke with plot ideas in the wee hours of the morning - I sat straight up in bed, turned the light on and grabbed my pad and pen, all excited. The weekends are all about family - so have to wait until the first of the week and that's when Max gets here - Monday! I can't wait to see him - been two years! I bet he has gotten so big. Turned 13 yesterday. So, it will be catch, catch can next week too.

Re: Jeanne M. Bannon
Susan, the lesson I've learned lately is to just let things be. I'm a control freak and used to be absolutely diligent about getting in at least a couple hours of writing each day, whether I felt like it or not, but that caused too much stress. So now, my motto is, go with the flow. Do what you can...even if it's just writing a paragraph or two, but don't put too much pressure on yourself and don't force the writing. It will all get done in good time. Go and enjoy your family. They are number one. Your writing will be there waiting. Plus when you get away from it for a while, you'll really start to miss it and the inspiration will flood back.

Re: Jeanne M. Bannon
Thanks for those wise words, Friend, and they are so true. Today I just did what I felt like doing and it felt great. In fact, just signed on to check my mail around 5pm and that felt good too - didn't even think about it until all settled around here! I needed a break - had an amazing day with Jeni, then Jake and I played games and talked.
But the book is calling me now, so maybe I'll write a bit tonight after dinner while Bob snores in his recliner. LOLOL We'll see. Ha!

Re: Jeanne M. Bannon
Sounds like the perfect day, Susan. ![]()
I'm working on Chapter 34 of DA and taking my time with it. It's a toughie and it's making me hate my writing. I'm taking several breaks and going back to it throughout the day. I've come to the conclusion that i hate writing, but I LOVE having written! What a paradox, but it's so true.

Re: Jeanne M. Bannon
hahahaha, a paradox indeed, but part of this feeling is having contracted Invisible. I felt the same way after I signed. I went all postal with the marketing, web and blog designing, artwork for the cover, and on and on and on. You'll get back t writing because you ARE a writer, (ahem) author. It's what we do.
Besides, DA really worked you, still is. And you know if you need me to review a chapter here and there, we could work something out because I really enjoy your reviews - your edits and suggestions are priceless - so email me, we can talk, because I don't need the points. I've banked over 1300.

Re: Jeanne M. Bannon
Very impressive, Susan...1300, wow!! I currently have 7.90. Probably not even enough to post a single chapter, lol.
Thanks for the advice. You're ahead of me on the road to publication and I appreciate that you share your experiences with me. DA is killing me right now. I think after two years of it, I'm just sick and tired
Nevertheless, I am trudging through. It will be finished and to the standard I want it. I'm just completing a tough chapter (chapter 34) the one right after June comes back from the dead and I'm finding it hard to capture the emotion. I mean, come one, she just came back from the dead! This chapter has got to be packed with emotion or it will fail. I very much appreciate your willingness to help and I will call on you if I need you. I might even repost that chapter. If I do, I'll let you know.

Sounds good Jeanne, whatever, just let me know if you want me to read it.
I have another interview coming up - this time on SKYPE, waiting for the address and I'll post a proper announcement.
I need to get some reviews answered and put in a few - been doing family things since Friday and now it's catch up time.... again. ha!
If I don't talk to you soon, have a great vacation!

Nicely done Jeanne. I appreciate you adding the tNBW, createspace links.
I only thought of the book links. You do a really professional job with the
blog site there.
Looks like it is getting a good following too.
I appreciate the exposure... both for myself and for
