Univ. of Colo. bought two copies!
The University of Colorado Norlin Library bought 2 copies of the Cloud! One copy will circulate. One will go into their Special Collections. So if you're ever in Boulder, CO and are one of the authors, go to the rare books room and sign the book! Woohoo!

Congrats Kydd! I'm going there today (I wish). When the first big cheque comes in, remember who your friends are! You deserve fame and fortune young lady.

Re: Univ. of Colo. bought two copies!
Thanks, Irene. It's the small victories that add up in the end...
They are buying anything I'm published in because I work here... Even the zombie anthology... go figure.
And they buy books I recommend to them. I just met an 82 year old Native American who did a storytelling book. They bought it plus his DVD on my recommendation.
They're very good about buying limited editions, signed editions and local authors or lore. They also have collections they add to, like their Scuba collection (a man named Scuba collected books with interesting photos in them), their mountaineering collection, their children's books collection, their local lore and Native traditions collection, interesting bookbindings, medieval manuscripts, etc. They're backlogged about 60,000 volumes already, but travel the world looking for more interesting stuff...
