Re: The review exchange

Hi Hanman, I would love to exchange reviews. My 1st chapter novel start is under the title Traveling Through Sicily in Commercial Fiction. Don't let the title put you off. Sicily is the name of a woman. This may also more appropriately fit in Literary Fiction. Something I'm hoping people will tell me. Okay, I'm going to search your name and read tonight. Thanks! (And Carolyn, I will check out Escape Deception)

Re: The review exchange

Hello everyone.  I saw this forrum and I thought it might be good to try the idea out.  I like to read at least one chapter or so per day, and I review what I see.  So I would be more than happy to do an exchange of read and review.  Any fans of fantasy fiction want to send and recieve review, I would be happy to oblige.

Happily,
Jason Harrington

Re: The review exchange

I wanted to say thanks for the reviews I recieved earlier in the day.  I was able to learn and use so much of what I recieved.  I made and posted two chapters, so I am looking forward to hearing more reviews.  All the help was very appreciated.

Re: The review exchange

Hello to all! I just joined and am eager to participate. I read from almost every genre but speculative fiction is my fave. I look forward to reciprocating reviews with any who desire it. If I review your posts and you don't like the genre of my posts, just please send my name to someone who does. I'd appreciate it!

Thanks in advance for the support, help, and honest criticism.

Oh, and big thanks to hanman for his unofficial rating explanation!!!

Re: The review exchange

I am new to the sight as well.  I really want some feedback on my work.  I have had 14 views but only one review.  I would definitely be interested in exchanging chapters for review.  my email is kimbowman2008@yahoo.com.  My work is under short story and it is titled Hart of Hearts.  This story is more of a fantasy/supernatural.   I would love as much feedback as possible.  I will happily reciprocate by reviewing work for anyone that posts for me.
Happy writing
Kim

Re: The review exchange

Hi, I joined and submitted a week ago.  I was on the NBW mailing list, read about Halloween story contest, and on impulse wrote a story, gave up my VISA number, and here I am, 6 reviews later.  Writer friends who know me know how reluctant I usually am to have people read my writing (thought I am published).  So to do this was a good thing.  And now, having read the 6 reviews of my story, I am intrigued and encouraged.  I'm feeling my way here, as I haven't found on the site where it spells out what to do.  So I will find a couple of pieces to review and then hopefully will soon submit something more myself.  And, thanks to those who took the time to read, and especially review, my story, Not Schizophrenic, Just Hungry.

Re: The review exchange

Hello everyone, nice to meet you.  Are we still doing the trading reviews?  I'd be willing to review.  I'm new.

Re: The review exchange

hanman, I have been on the site since the firts of January. The trading of one review for another is clearly the way it works. I am going to look for your work. I usually don't review thing I don't understand but will look at any genre.

Re: The review exchange

This thread is three years old, and hanman is no longer even a member as far as I can tell. It really should be unstickied, since I don't think anyone does exchange groups or circles anymore.

Re: The review exchange

Hi Hanman,

I like the idea, but I fear I will struggle to cope if there is an avalanche of reviewing. I'm still new to all this and tend to take a good while to review a chapter.
Perhaps a smaller circle, you mention the Fantasy writers circle, how do I join?

Thanks

Re: The review exchange

D A, it looks like this thread is kind of old.  I don't ever see any activity in the reviewing group threads anymore.  I think mostly people just create informal reviewing groups with the people they meet on here.
