Re: What about a book club?

Wanna try for one day next week, since I know the weekends aren't good for you?  Tuesday, or Thursday?

Re: What about a book club?

Thursday is better for me.  But how is this going to work?  As I asked before, do we all have to be on at the same time, or should someone start a thread and take the lead and post questions.  Then we all post answers at our own convenience.  That would give more scheduling flexibility.  Just an idea.

Re: What about a book club?

Thursdays generally work for me , and I'm pretty flexable- your idea sounds good Lisa considering different time zones and things, I t might be difficult for all of us to be on line at the same time. What does every one else think? Jen, Ivey, Kam, Selah?,I forgot wh0 else was joining , fogive me if I left anyone out- chime in with opinions and lets get this puppy going.

Re: What about a book club?

Maybe we just choose a particular day to post, and put it under Writing Feedback? With a subject that says Book Club and the Book's name, so we all know where to find it.

Re: What about a book club?

We're looking at Writing Feedback Forum, in our Book Club thread, on Thursday.  With Colonel Mustard and the rope.  Kidding, about the last part.

Re: What about a book club?

Jenn, do you want to put together questions for us to answer -- like the "Book Club Discussion Questions" often found in the back of current commercial novels?  That way we can all post our responses.

Yeah, I can do that.  But it'd be cool as well if y'all asked questions, too, so I know what you were thinking of while reading it.

Re: What about a book club?

Caleb is pretty cool, and drinks his coffee black. Sometimes I want to slap Jilly, but Caleb loves her so I keep my opinions to myself....

Things like that?

Re: What about a book club?

As you can tell I'm not that overly fond of romance novel women. Granted Jilly gets some balls there near the end, but.....

I still hate Sara from the Promises series, and Ivey has toned her down.

Re: What about a book club?

Caleb's sisters are an interesting group. I found it an interesting premise. A whole family of famous people, but the two people that are the happiest are the ones that aren't famous (the parents). They're cool, even if a little corny by their children's standards.

Yep, a family of slightly-neurotic gypsies raised by two completely normal, small-town folks.
