Me me me

Alright, we're off to a good start!  Help me poke the other memoirists on the site.  I'll go see if I can drag Ellie over here...

Okay!  I certainly think we can manage more folk, but I also think the four of us could be a very strong group on our own.    Let's give it a day or two and see who else wants to join us, and then start talking about what we want to do.

I am interested, but the more I think about it, this spot belongs to someone who knows what they are doing memoir-wise. I love memoirs, just don't know if I am ready to tell the truth. I probably should stick with fiction for the time being. I don't want to take the spot from someone else.

No!  We need you!  Even if you aren't ready to write, we need your voice in our conversationsn about memoir.  You have such a wonderful understanding of things. 

I'm struggling with truth-telling, too.  And with having to know thet truth, in order to write it.  Don't leave us just yet.  Please?

Glad you're in here. You are already writing memoir in some of your short stories (the yellow cabin). You have to be accurate, but you don't have to tell all.

Except in my writing, that is.

Funny how having to stick to the truth on paper makes me so free with it in speech and promise, isn't it?
