A quick, interesting read - an unending cycle of grief being passed on.  Though I felt Marisa's pain, my sympathy also lies with Damita, who'll have to deal with loss - even though she wasn't exactly committed to Raphael.   The ending was poignant.  I could almost see Marisa sitting there, waiting for death.


Raphael took a step back, weary.  (Couldn't help myself. Forgive me.)  'Weary' should be 'wary'.
