News flash! I am starting to work on the sequel to On a Wing and a Dare. A very rough first draft of chapter one is posted under the working title: In the Winds of Danger.

What do you think? The title echoes the first one, but is it too close?
Other title possiblities:
Dark Beneath My Wings
Hidden Beneath My Wings

I like "In the Winds of Danger" it fits like a glove with the 1st book
title.

In the Winds of Danger, in a very rough form, is now posted and awaiting reviews.  Got a half dozen or so chapters up. Let me know what you need reviewed and come Dec. 1 I'm all over them.

Re: Ann Walters feedback sticky

Please don't get confused on In the Winds of Danger. I combined chapters 3 and 4. The old chapter 5 and 6 are now 4 and 5. There is a NEW chapter 6. It's okay if you read chapter 6 out of order, since it sticks some of Ana's POV in between Owain's.

Re: Ann Walters feedback sticky

I just reread chapter 3 last night which is 3&4, right? I'm just going work it from there, reading any that you have republished until I catch up properly. Okay?

The interior is done for On a Wing and a Dare, and the cover is almost there. Right now I need the blurbie recommendation thingies for the back cover. Is anyone who read the book interested? Let me know...

Have I done one for you, Ann? If not I will be glad to if you wish.

Re: Ann Walters feedback sticky

Hi Ann
Just saw your post on Susan's and wanted to say I missed you too!
I've been doing mostly painting and procrastinating on my writing.
I lie in bed before going to sleep and get all these great ideas about
Cable and his group but I haven't written anything in months. I know...
shame on me. My neighbor gave me a personal idea recorder and I
put ideas on that for later.

How's your next book coming along?
Lee smile
PS I've painted several critters, but haven't tried my hand at a horse yet.

Re: Ann Walters feedback sticky

Just dropped in again to let you know I revised Sentinel (my poem) to give it more details.
Don't know if you read it before but I think this version is even darker.
Would appreciate your take.

Re: Ann Walters feedback sticky

Hi, Lee! Glad to hear you're still getting ideas for writing at least! In the Winds of Danger is about half done. With the first one published, I do feel some pressure to get out the sequel, but it's okay.

I never read Sentinel before. I have a hard time with poetry, sorry. sad  I just don't ever have enough to say to merit a review.

Back again begging for feedback on latest posting of Home World.  If there's any effective way any of y'all have found to get at least half the folk who 'view' the posting to leave at least big note style comments, please do sing out.   Would appreciate any help I can get!

Re: Ann Walters feedback sticky

Best advice, Bonnie: don't beg. If you review people they will come and review you. Everyone has way way way more views than comments, so stop looking at that.

Re: Ann Walters feedback sticky

Hey, everybody! I have a new venture posted. I want it to be a shorter, simpler novella (maybe 35,000 words) that introduces the world of flying horses. If people fall in love with the horses, they'll read the novels, right? I plan to offer this permanent free on Amazon. Check out the first chapter for me?
